1992 - THE BIRTH OF THE FOUNDERS

Laurie and Mathieu, founders of the KISHAN brand, were both born in 1992 in Bienne, a small Swiss town of 57,000 inhabitants. Throughout their childhood and adolescence, the path of Laurie and Mathieu will not cross, despite their common frequentations. At the end of their compulsory schooling, Laurie began her professional career in the social field while Mathieu opted for the commercial path.

 

2017 - THEIR MEETING

It is in October 2017 that fate will bring them together. Laurie decides to give new meaning to her professional career and applies for a reputable watch company.

Mathieu has been working there for a few months. Following Laurie's reconversion, their lives finally intersect and, immediately, the alchemy operates. Professional and romantic osmosis sets in naturally. Did this flame of love presage the birth of KISHAN ?

 

2020 - THE BIRTH OF KISHAN

March 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, almost everyone's life is on hold.

The young couple is no exception and must remain confined for several weeks. Awareness is then called for, a questioning both personal and professional.

By sharing their daily lives, the evidence of a deep complicity is reinforced. An identical vision of human and social values, the ease of working together and even their differences of opinion encourage them to consider creating their own business.

Laurie's spirit of initiative and creative side developed during her initial training, Mathieu's organizational ease and her background in luxury watchmaking, their determination, their conviction and their dynamism are all assets that promise a bright future for the KISHAN brand.

Why the name KISHAN ? KISHAN is a derivative of the first name of the deity Krishna. In India, he is the god of compassion, tenderness and love. Krishna is also said to be the ancient divine Fire. Her blue skin is also associated with beings who show depth of character and endurance in battle. His priceless serenity, his rigor and his determination are the character traits that Laurie and Mathieu defend and devote to the brand. The KISHAN name is in total harmony with the product offered and the spirit of its creators.

Revealing coincidence? The first name KISHAN became very popular in Europe in 1992 !

 

2021 - INTERNET AND SOCIAL NETWORKS

After offering their first creations to those around them, Laurie and Mathieu decide to promote their products to the general public. It is logical that they bet on the design of a website and put it online in April 2021. An instagram page also follows.

 

2023 - THE FUTURE

Who says quality products, says requirement and meticulousness. The creators of KISHAN will dedicate all of their time to the production of scented candles, prospecting to develop a varied and surprising range with the aim of reaching a clientele with a passionate and demanding temperament... like them.
